Kid/family friendly as this series somehow is, Five Nights at Freddy's is still a horror story. There's a lot going on if you know where to look.

The series over all has themes of implied death and murder of kids and adults alike, kidnapping, mentions of and implied gore and while unlikely to come up since Gregory doesn't know this, possession/brainwashing.
